Lakisha Griffin

Lakisha Griffin has a diverse work experience. Lakisha began their career in 2006 as a Sales Associate at Claflin University Bookstore, where they provided customer service to students and alumni, assisted in maintaining and restocking inventory, and computed invoices and purchase orders. In 2008, they became an Assistant Coach at Claflin University, where they assisted the head coach with anything pertaining to the program. In 2012, they became an Athletic Academic Supervisor at Claflin University, where they reported directly to the Athletics Director, supervised the study hall tutorial program, monitored students' academic progress, met with at-risk students, worked with academic services, and ensured each student-athlete had ample opportunity to progress toward degree. In 2017, they became the Owner of Krushed By Kish, an online retail business specializing in designing and printing custom designs on apparel and accessories such as T-shirts, flannels, bags, cups, towels, and more. Lakisha created and sent out invoices to customers, ordered supplies, designed logos for clients, and printed designs using a cutting machine or inkjet printer and used a standard heat press to press designs onto merchandise. In 2019, they became an Information Technology Help Desk Technician and a Jr. IT Help Desk Technician at Economic Systems Inc.

Lakisha Griffin completed their Master's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2014 and 2016. Between 2002 and 2006, they obtained a Sport Management degree and a Business Administration degree from Claflin University. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Coaching from Coaches Academy.
