Erin Bennett Pennell

Erin Bennett Pennell, PE, is a Water Resources Engineer at Ecosystem Planning and Restoration, with a focus on ecosystem restoration since September 2013. Previous experience includes serving as a Teacher's Assistant at North Carolina State University, an intern at the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources working on stream restoration projects, a Research Assistant in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department studying water quality indicators, and internships at Blue Ridge Environmental Consultants and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where roles involved environmental consulting and biodiversity identification, respectively. Erin holds a Master of Science in Biological Engineering - Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from North Carolina State University.
