Claus Mortensen

Claus Mortensen has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and telecommunications. Claus started their career as the Head of Section at the National IT and Telecom Agency, where they were responsible for initiating and leading tenders for national licenses. Claus then worked as a Research Analyst at Informa Telecoms & Media, focusing on market research and analysis in various European countries.

Mortensen joined IDC in 2004 and held multiple roles during their tenure. Claus served as a Research Manager, responsible for leading and planning research programs in the Asia/Pacific region, and as a Principal/Director of Emerging Technologies Research, where they led thought-leadership programs and oversaw business development and consulting projects. Claus also served as the Director of Asia/Pacific Over-the-Top and Telco Consumer Services, focusing on carrier strategies in dealing with OTTPs.

In 2014, Mortensen joined YouGov Nordic as the Nordic Director of Custom Solutions, where they managed custom research projects for clients. In 2015, they co-founded Mortensen Consulting Ltd., where they worked as a Co-owner. Currently, Mortensen is serving as the Principal Analyst for Digital Transformation and Cloud Computing at ecosystm.

Throughout their career, Mortensen has gained expertise in areas such as digital transformation, cloud computing, telecommunications, market research, and emerging technologies.

Claus Mortensen holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen, Københavns Universitet.
