Luis Salgado

Luis Salgado is an experienced professional in climate finance and nature-based solutions, currently serving as the Nature Based Solutions and Climate Finance Director and Technical Director at ECOTIERRA since August 2014. Prior to this role, Luis was the Managing Partner at Adap-t Consultants, focusing on climate change policy and new market mechanisms. Luis also held the position of Director for Latin America at ÉcoRessources from 2007 to December 2013 and served as Forestry Coordinator at Fondo Nacional del Ambiente-FONAM from 2001 to 2004. Early career experience includes working as a researcher at AIDER in 2000-2001. Luis Salgado is an alumnus of UNALM.
