Carolina Coutinho

Carolina Coutinho has worked in a variety of roles in the animal science field since 2007. Carolina began as an Intern at APTA, then at CATI - COORDENADORIA DE ASSISTÊNCIA TÉCNICA INTEGRAL, and then at Fazenda Lince. In 2010, they became an Intern at Auburn University and then a Summer Intern at Fazenda Lince. In 2011, they became a Zootecnista at Gestão Agropecuária, where they developed software for confinement, grazing, and traceability. In 2015, they became an Analista Ambiental at Aliança da Terra. In 2016, they became a Zootecnista at Origine. In 2017, they became a Consultor at Aliança da Terra, where they consulted on Rubia Galega animal production. In 2018, they became an Animal Scientist at Rush Creek Texas, where they managed the ranch and operated the Brangus, Hereford, and Black Baldies breeding system. Finally, in 2019, they became the COO - Chief Operating Officer at Ecotrace Solutions, where they were responsible for operational routines, efficiency, and productivity, and led the ECO IA product, a computer vision and artificial intelligence product for optimization and standardization of classification in the bovine and avian segment. Carolina was also the coordinator of Technical Support within the company.

Carolina Coutinho studied Zootecnia at Universidade Estadual de Maringá from 2006 to 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they attended Instituto de Tecnologias de Alimento - ITAL, where they completed an Especialização em Tecnologia da Carne. Carolina then pursued Produção Animal at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho from 2012 to 2014, with a focus on Qualidade de carne em bovinos de corte.
