Matthew Harnack

Matthew Harnack has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. Matthew currently works part-time as a Commercial Lead at Ecotricity, where they are responsible for setting up the commercial arrangements for a solar project. In previous roles, they have worked with companies such as Octopus Renewables and British Solar Renewables, leading various projects related to solar energy and operations & maintenance. Matthew has also held positions at Bath & West Community Energy and Harness Energy Consulting, where they provided consulting advice in renewable energy and battery storage. Additionally, they have experience in strategy development, business development, and operations & management. Before entering the private sector, they worked at Ofgem, the UK Energy Regulator, where they played a key role in developing sustainable energy schemes. Matthew Harnack's expertise lies in areas such as project management, asset management, and commercial strategy in the renewable energy sector.

Matthew Harnack completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney in the years 1993 to 1998. Matthew later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from La Trobe University from 2000 to 2004.
