Lily B. Abood is a seasoned professional in development and engagement, currently serving as the VP of Development & Engagement at Ecotrust since February 2016, where responsibilities include building and executing a sustainable development program aligned with the organization’s mission. Prior to this role, Lily was the Director of Development at Mercy Corps from January 2012 to February 2016, focusing on unique partnership opportunities and donor offerings. Lily's experience also includes serving as the Director of Philanthropy and Events at World Pulse, where agency development strategies were enhanced, and as an Event Manager at Organic Events, managing large-scale events. Additionally, Lily worked as a Major Gifts Officer at Mother Jones, expanding donor networks and organizing fundraising efforts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American and Latino Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and international study at Universitat de Barcelona.
