Karl Kiser

Karl Kiser is an accomplished researcher with a strong background in biomedical engineering and radiology. Currently serving as an Associate Researcher at Ecovative since September 2022, Karl previously held the position of Research Technician II at Weill Cornell Medicine, focusing on dynamic contrast enhanced MRI methods and pharmacokinetic modeling from August 2020 to October 2022. Karl also has experience as a Research Associate at NYU Langone Health, where similar research on tumor treatment response was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Gene Kim. Prior roles include organizing grassroots efforts for the North Carolina Democratic Party and interning at North Country School and Camp Treetops, where agricultural education was emphasized. Karl began academic pursuits at Pitzer College, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Biophysics.
