Bruno Oliveira

Bruno Oliveira is a seasoned professional in conference interpreting, currently serving as the Regional Secretary for AIIC Africa since January 2018. In addition to this role, Bruno is an active member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters and has represented various prestigious organizations, including the African Development Bank Group and the World Health Organization, as a Portuguese conference interpreter since 2021 and August 2018, respectively. With extensive freelance interpreting experience for institutions such as the World Bank Group, International Monetary Fund, and African Union, Bruno has built a diverse portfolio. Bruno's academic background includes a Master's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto and a postgraduate diploma in Conference Interpreting from Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa.
