Carmen Strand

Carmen Strand is an experienced instructional designer with a comprehensive background in course development and marketing. Currently serving as the Lead Designer for online programs at Penn State World Campus, Carmen oversees course portfolios and provides strategic guidance on learning technologies and processes. Carmen has also held various roles at EcoWater Systems, focusing on web development and marketing. Prior experience includes positions at Penn State University as a program specialist and coordinator, as well as significant roles in production management at the Centre Daily Times and Knight Ridder. Carmen holds a Master’s degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Newspaper Operations Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
