Margaret Thompson Ei, Apss

Margaret Thompson, PE, is a Research & Development Engineer at Emerging Compounds Treatment Technologies, Inc. since January 2021, focusing on developing innovative treatment technologies for emerging contaminants like PFAS. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Researcher in Global WaSH at NC State Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, where Margaret developed methods for point-of-use water treatment systems, and as a Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Technician in environmental engineering. Additionally, Margaret served as an Academic Collaborator with Caminos de Agua, executing pilot experiments, and contributed to soil and environmental chemistry research as an Undergraduate Researcher at NC State. Margaret holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, with a minor in Soil Science.
