Margaret Thompson, PE, is a Research & Development Engineer at Emerging Compounds Treatment Technologies, Inc. since January 2021, focusing on developing innovative treatment technologies for emerging contaminants like PFAS. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Researcher in Global WaSH at NC State Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, where Margaret developed methods for point-of-use water treatment systems, and as a Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Technician in environmental engineering.
