Tamiko Armbrister

Tamiko Armbrister has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Tamiko began their career as an Instructional and Induction Coach for Broward County Public Schools. In 2018, they became an Independent Contractor and Professional Trainer and Coach/Educational Consultant. In 2020, they began working for Pearson as a Teacher Performance Assessment Scorer and for EdConnective as an Instructional Coach and Consultant. In 2021, they became an Independent Test Administrator for Florida Technical College. Currently, they are an Associate Director of National Volunteer Programming for Everytown for Gun Safety.

Tamiko Armbrister has a diverse educational background. Tamiko holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida Atlantic University, a Liberal Studies degree from Thomas Edison State University, and School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University- College of Psychology. Tamiko also has a Psychology degree from Bethune-Cookman University. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained a number of certifications, including a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, a Brain Health Certificate from Florida International University, a Professional Coach Certificate from Certified Life Coach Institute, an Instructional Coach Credential from Broward County Public Schools, and a Professional Educator Certificate from The Florida Department of Education.
