Kristen Coughlin has over 15 years of experience in research and analytics. Kristen currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of DxI Human Intelligence US at Edelman Data & Intelligence (DxI) since July 2021. In their previous role at Edelman, they were the Executive Vice President and Human Intelligence Chicago Lead.
Before joining Edelman DxI, Kristen worked at IEG as the Senior Director of Sponsorship Research & Analytics from July 2013 to September 2016. Kristen led primary research and measurement practices for Fortune 500 brands and top sports/entertainment properties.
Kristen also has experience as a Research Manager at Maritz Research, where they managed ad-hoc global research studies for Fortune 500 clients in the retail and technology sector.
In addition, they have worked at Edelman Intelligence as a Manager and later as a Senior Business Analyst in the Communications Measurement & Analytics division.
Kristen began their career at The Mellman Group as a Public Opinion Analyst in market research and political polling. Kristen then worked at Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates as a Market Research Analyst.
Throughout their career, Kristen has demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth, developing talented teams, and pioneering innovative methodologies for research.
Kristen Coughlin holds a B.A. degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan.
