Manuel Burgauer

Manuel Burgauer has a strong background in the aviation industry, with over 15 years of experience. Manuel is currently employed as the Head of Flight Operations at Edelweiss Air AG, a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Head of Flight Operations at Swiss International Air Lines from November 2018 to April 2020. Manuel also held various roles at Belair Airlines AG / Air Berlin Group, including Head of Flight Operations and Chief Pilot, from February 2017 to January 2018. Manuel has extensive experience as a Commander A320 and TRI A320, spanning from January 2010 to January 2018. Manuel started their career at Hapag-Lloyd Flug / Tuifly as a First Officer B737 from 2005 to 2007.

Manuel Burgauer attended Swissair Aviation School from 2000 to 2001, where they received an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). Following this, from 2001 to 2005, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics at the University of Zurich.
