Sajal Gupta

Sajal Gupta has a strong background in finance and treasury sales. Sajal began their career at ICICI Bank as a Senior Manager in the Global Markets group from 2003 to 2006. Sajal then moved to HSBC Bank, where they served as Vice President of Treasury Sales from 2006 to 2010. Following that, Gupta joined Anand Rathi Commodities Ltd. as the Senior Vice President and Country Head of Sales for Commodities and Currency. Sajal held this position from 2010 to 2013. Gupta then joined Edelweiss Securities Ltd. as the Associate Director and Head of Forex & Rates, where they led the institutional desk for Forex and Rates advisory and broking business. In 2020, Gupta joined Edelweiss Financial Services Limited as the Senior Vice President and Head of Forex & Rates. Throughout their career, Gupta has been responsible for managing sales, devising strategies, and providing consulting services on forex risk to institutional clients.

Sajal Gupta completed their Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1999-2002. Sajal also obtained a General Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2004-2005. In 2008-2009, they pursued a CAIIB degree specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance. In their high school education, they attended S D Public school Sector 32 Chandigarh for XII th grade.
