Janelle Sherman Randle

Geothermal Project Coordinator at Eden GeoTech

Janelle Sherman Randle has a diverse background in geosciences and education. Janelle started their career as a Geology Laboratory Instructor at the University of Arkansas in 2011. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a General Geology Instructor at the same university. In 2014, they joined ExxonMobil as a Geoscience Intern. Janelle then progressed to become a Senior Geoscientist at ExxonMobil from 2016 to 2020, where they performed integrated analyses, characterized risk and uncertainty, and assessed prospect volumetrics. Following this role, they joined XTO Energy as a Senior Geologist in 2020 and delivered impact through overseeing geological operations and site investigations. In 2022, Janelle became the Vice President of The National Association of Black Geoscientists (NABG) before transitioning to their current role as a Geothermal Project Coordinator at EDEN.

Janelle Sherman Randle obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from Wayne State University. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at the University of Arkansas between 2011 and 2013.
