Göksel Marangoz

Göksel Marangoz has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Göksel has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

From 1999 to 2002, Göksel worked as a System Support Engineer at HP, where they provided technical support to customers and managed outsourcing servers.

From 2005 to 2007, they worked at IBM as an IT Specialist and Security Coordinator, analyzing security risks, implementing security standards, and solving complex issues for outsourcing customers.

At Koç Holding A.Ş., Göksel served as the Network, System & Security Group Leader from 2007 to 2011. Göksel was responsible for the data center, application and infrastructure security, and managed SLAs for group companies.

At Turkcell, from 2011 to 2014, Göksel held the position of Head of IT Application Operations, overseeing the operation of the company's IT enterprise, managing customer support teams, and handling value-added services.

From 2014 to 2018, they worked at OPET as the CIO and Head of Innovation and Digital Transformation. Göksel managed various teams and technology systems for over 1500 oil and gas stations, HQ, and storage facilities. Göksel was also responsible for delivering digital transformation initiatives and building innovation strategies.

At Teknosa, Göksel served as the CIO & CDO and Deputy General Manager from 2018 to 2019. Göksel focused on creating an omnichannel customer experience, leading digital transformation programs, and developing software and hardware products.

Göksel'smost recent role was at Edenred, where they worked as the IT Director for Northern Europe Region, Infrastructure, and IT Operations from 2019 to 2022. Göksel was responsible for delivering technology services to various countries and ensuring alignment with business unit expectations and budgets. Prior to this, they held the position of CIO, where they oversaw the company's adaptation to digitalization and provided better payment services using new technologies.

Göksel Marangoz received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Istanbul University in 2001. Göksel then pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Istanbul Technical University and completed it in 2003. In 2016 and 2017, Göksel attended Harvard Business School, where they obtained a degree in Disruptive Strategy from their HBX program.
