Juan Cataldo Alvarez

Juan Cataldo Alvarez has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting. Juan is currently working as the Head of Accounting at Edenred since April 2022. Previously, they worked at CodelcoTech as the Subgerente de contabilidad from May 2020 to November 2021, and before that, they held the role of Jefe de contabilidad in the same company from 2017 to 2020. In their role at CodelcoTech, they were responsible for financial statement preparation, quarterly FECU preparation, monthly closing, and implementation of procedures.

Juan also worked as the Jefe de contabilidad at IM2 - Instituto de Innovación en Mineria y Metalurgia - Filial Codelco in 2016 and as an Account Supervisor at Bupa in 2015, where they supervised a team of 4 people and was responsible for financial consolidation. Prior to that, they worked as an Analista Contable Senior at LATAM Airlines from 2012 to 2015 and at Tattersall Maquinarias S.A. from 2010 to 2011.

Juan Cataldo Alvarez has a solid education history. Juan completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Civil Engineering at Universidad San Sebastián from 2017 to 2020. In 2014, they pursued a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) at Universidad de Chile. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they received a degree in Accounting Audit from INACAP. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Tax Reform from Thomson Reuters in 2016.
