Dorothy Stonell

Dorothy Stonell is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Programmes Group Head at EDF (UK) since May 2017, with previous roles including Fuel Route Operations & Generation Planning Lead and Fuel Route Operational Planner. Prior experience includes working as a Decommissioning Strategy Analyst at Sellafield Ltd from September 2014 to March 2017 and a Radiation Transport Analyst at UKAEA, Culham, for a brief period in 2014, focusing on neutron activation research using MCNP6 and FISPACT activation codes. Additionally, Dorothy held the position of Energy Researcher at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in mid-2013. Dorothy earned a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of Birmingham in 2014, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the same institution, completed in 2014.
