Steven Girdley

Steven Girdley currently serves as the HPC Deputy Technical Director at EDF (UK), responsible for Engineering Delivery, Design Authority, and Transformation since January 2023. Prior to this role, Girdley held various leadership positions at EDF, including Head of Technical and Engineering and Head of Quality Delivery HPC, overseeing significant quality initiatives and managing a large team of quality professionals. With extensive experience in issues resolution for the HPC Project and a solid background in engineering management, Girdley has developed a comprehensive skill set in project management, performance improvement, and technical oversight across multiple nuclear energy projects. Girdley's educational background includes an MBA and MSc, with a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control.
