Thomas Shaw Engtech Minstre

Thomas Shaw EngTech MInstRE has extensive experience in training and emergency response, currently serving as the Lead Instructor for the Forward Deployment Service at EDF (UK) since July 2020. Prior to this role, Thomas has held positions including Managing Director of Shaw Plant Training Ltd since August 2014, MHE Training Supervisor at ArcelorMittal from April 2013 to January 2014, and Trainer/Assessor at Shaw Training, focusing on heavy plant and vehicle conversion. Thomas also has a background as an International Forklift and Heavy Plant Instructor, teaching safe driving skills for mine haul trucks. Previous roles include Heavy Plant Instructor at New College Nottingham and Mentor FLT Training, as well as a decade of service in HM Forces, where Thomas operated as a plant operator mechanic and supervisor. Educationally, Thomas trained at the Royal School of Military Engineering from 1998 to 2007 and attended Wales High School from 1991 to 1996.
