Liz Ruxton

Liz Ruxton has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on HR business partnering. Liz is currently the Head of HR Business Partners at EDF Renewables UK & Ireland, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Liz worked at EDF Energy from 2012 to 2022, where they held various roles including Head of HR Sales & Marketing and HR Business Partner Manager. In these roles, they supported the B2B and Customers area of the business and was closely involved in starting a new joint venture. Liz also worked at Newsquest as an HR Manager in 2011, providing support and advice on organisational changes and restructures. Prior to that, they were the Group HR Officer at Newsquest Media Group Ltd from 2010 to 2011, where they provided HR advice and guidance to the Regional HR team and managers. Liz began their career as an HR Coordinator/Assistant at William Reed Business Media Ltd. in 2007.

Liz Ruxton attended The Grammar School in Hull, where they pursued a Bsc (Hons) degree in Environmental Science.
