Rosie King

Rosie King is an accomplished Mechanical Engineer at EDF Renewables UK & Ireland since January 2022, providing technical support within the mechanical and composites team and leading a STEM outreach program. In addition, Rosie serves as a Director for High Winds Community Energy Society Limited, managing community-owned turbines. Previous experience includes a Science and Engineering graduate role at EDF (UK), where rotations included offshore wind development and asset operations, and a student ambassador role at Newcastle University, promoting higher education. Rosie's early career involved a placement in Chemistry and Efficiency at EDF Energy, where contributions included monitoring thermal performance and troubleshooting, and an internship at Dow AgroSciences focused on data transfer solutions. Rosie holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University, completed in 2019.
