David Warner

David Warner has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry, primarily focusing on project development and finance. David has worked for EDF Renewables North America since 2010, starting as a GIS Analyst and progressing through various roles such as Developer, Associate Developer, Manager Development, Associate Director Business Development, Director of Business Development, and currently as the Director of Project Finance. In these roles, they have been responsible for managing project financing, overseeing contract negotiation and execution, and developing and implementing regional strategies for business development.

In addition to their work at EDF Renewables North America, David has also served on the Board of Directors for Clean Energy BC and as a Steering Committee Member for the Canadian Wind Energy Association. Prior to joining EDF Renewables, they worked at Ortech Consulting Inc. as a Project Manager and Renewable Energy Specialist, where they focused on wind project development and implementation of GIS technologies. David also worked as a Source Sampling Specialist, conducting air quality monitoring and testing.

Overall, David Warner has a wide range of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a particular expertise in project development, finance, and GIS analysis.

From 1999 to 2002, David Warner pursued a Diploma in Environmental Technology from Fanshawe College.
