Jonathan Hart

Jonathan Hart is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Virtual Power Plant Manager at EDF Renewables North America and Public Policy Manager at PowerFlex since February 2020. Previously, Jonathan worked at the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) as a Specialist of DER Strategy, focusing on distributed energy resources, the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP), and various projects related to renewable energy technologies. Jonathan's expertise also includes research on smart grids and microgrids from a tenure at the Institute for Energy and the Environment, as well as contributions to solar PV and inverter research at Brigham Young University. Jonathan holds a Master's in Energy Regulation and Law with a focus on Renewable Energy Law and Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
