Chien Duong

Chien Duong, CPA, is a seasoned tax professional with significant experience in tax compliance and policy development. Currently serving as Tax Manager at EDF Trading since April 2011, Chien has played a crucial role in establishing the internal tax compliance department for EDF Trading North America, LLC, overseeing tax procedures and managing compliance for both the US and Canada. Prior to this position, Chien held roles including Sr. Tax Analyst and Tax Analyst, contributing to over 450 compliance filings annually. Chien is also an investor at HKNW, LLC, which manages commercial real estate properties in Houston. Earlier career experience includes positions at MP&W as Sr. Analyst, KPMG US in Federal Tax Advisory, and Deloitte’s CDO Financial Services - Tax. Chien earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business.
