John Grey

John Grey began their work experience in 2001 at Enron, where they worked in gas operations from September to December of that year. In 2002, they moved to EDF Trading and started as an electricity scheduler in January. John then worked as a junior electricity trader from October 2002 to June 2005, and subsequently became an electricity trader until March 2007. From April 2007 to November 2011, John served as a senior trader. John then took on the role of head of gas basis trading and asset optimization from November 2011 to November 2013, followed by head of European gas trading from November 2013 to June 2014. Currently, John Grey works as the head of European power trading at EDF Trading.

John Grey attended the University of Bristol from 1996 to 2001, where they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
