Jim B.

Jim B. began their career in 2017 working as a Technical Assistant for Courtyard Surgery, and as a Fruit Picker for Charlton Orchards. In 2018, they began working for Dyson as an Undergraduate Software Engineer, Undergraduate Engineer, Undergraduate Design Engineer, Undergraduate Research Engineer, Undergraduate Concept & Strategy Engineer, Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer, Undergraduate Software Engineer, and Undergraduate Electronic Engineer. In 2019, Jim B. was appointed to the Dyson Institute Council as a full Member and elected as the Undergraduate Head Representative, and was re-elected for a second term in 2021. In 2022, they took an exciting role with Edge Impulse as a Solutions Engineer, helping to bring machine learning to the masses through their innovative platform.

Jim B. has been enrolled in The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology from 2018 to 2022, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Engineering and a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Product Design and Development Engineering.
