Saurabh Vakil

Saurabh Vakil is the Senior Analyst at Edge Research Group. Saurabh has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has held various positions throughout their career. Saurabh was the Managing Director at K.C. Mehta Consulting Private Limited from December 2012 to April 2015. Saurabh also served as the Vice President - Professional Services at IndusFace Consulting from February 2009 to July 2010. In addition, they were a Management Consultant at Rishabh Software from February 2011 to August 2012. Saurabh has also worked as an Executive Business Consultant at Rishabh Software Services from April 2007 to October 2008. Saurabh was also the General Manager – Information Technology at Medtronic from February 1999 to February 2007. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of Parth Computers LLC from January 1981 to July 1991. Saurabh started their career as a Senior Engineer at Burroughs Corporation (Unisys) in May 1978 and later joined Benette Respiration Products as a Senior Engineer in December 1976. Saurabh was also a Member Technical Staff, B-1 Division at Rockwell International in Los Angeles, CA from December 1975 to December 1976.

Saurabh Vakil attended the University Experimental School in Baroda, India for their high school certificate. Saurabh then attended The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda for their B.E. in electrical engineering. Saurabh followed that up with an MS in electrical engineering from the University of Dayton. Lastly, they completed their MBA in marketing/finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
