Sally Montera has been working in the IT field since 1977, starting their career at IBM as a Certified I/T Specialist. Sally then moved on to become an I/T Specialist, responsible for storage support of IT contracts at several large customers including Chrysler and Ford. Sally was also responsible for selling and closing additional contracts for IBM services. Montera then took on the role of Senior SE Support Representative at the International Technical Support Center in San Jose, where they were responsible for project management of residencies and the editing and publishing of 9 resulting Redbooks. Sally also provided level 2 support for Q&A of worldwide technical questions, and presented at conferences updating the IBM community in Europe and Canada on the latest Storage software. Montera then moved on to become a Senior Systems Engineer, a Marketing Support Representative, and a Systems Engineer. Since 2017, Montera has been working as a System Engineer at Edge Solutions and Consulting Inc.
Sally Montera attended Roy C. Ketcham High School from 1969 to 1973, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Sally then attended Hope College from 1973 to 1976, where they earned a BA in Political Science. In 1999, they obtained an IT Specialist certification from IBM.
