Stan Muse

Stan Muse has over 40 years of professional experience. Stan began their career in 1971 as a Foreman, Boilermaker, Millwright, and Electrician for Atlantic Steel Company. In 1975, they became an Accountant for the Comptrollers Office for Restricted Funds at Emory University, where they managed NIH Contracts. In 1978, they joined IBM as a Consulting Enterprise Architect for the Banking, Finance and Insurance sector. Stan was also an IBM Software Lab Services Principal for Business Intelligence, an IBM Business Intelligence Architect, a Sales Operations Manager for the Distribution Sector (Retail, Travel & Transportation), a Senior Account Executive, a Senior Database Software Sales Specialist, a Lead Systems Engineer for the BellSouth Account, a Development Team Leader for the Business Management Series software project, and a Senior Programmer for the IBM Federal Systems Division and IBM Data Processing Division. In 1994, they became a Principal and Practice Leader for IBM Global Services. In 2022, they joined Edge Solutions & Consulting Inc. as a Consulting Account Executive.

Stan Muse has a comprehensive education history. Stan obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Georgia between 1971 and 1975, majoring in Computer Science & Statistics. Stan then went on to obtain a Master of Science Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1976 and 1978, with a field of study in Business and Computer Science. Prior to this, they attended Briarcliff High School in Atlanta, GA from 1966 to 1970. In addition to their formal education, Stan has obtained numerous certifications from IBM and LinkedIn, including IBM Certified Soluton Advisor - Cloud Computing Architecture V5, IBM Z DevOps Foundations, IBM Z Pervasive Encryption, IBM Team Solution Design, Watson Knowledge Studio: Methodology - IBM Watson Academy, IBM Inerskill - Blockchain Foundations, Machine Learning Services Consultant, Pervasive Encryption Security Architect, Architect Profession Certification, IBM Open Source, System z and z/OS Mastery, DB2 Expert, Business Intelligence Solution Designer, and Consulting Business Intelligence & Analytics Principal. Stan also obtained an Algorithmic Trading and Stocks Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in 2019.
