Thomas started their career in 2006 as an intern at SalesPad Solutions, where they gained foundational programming skills and provided technical support. At Grand Valley State University, they worked as a lab assistant and personal tutor, helping students with programming basics. In 2009, they had a summer internship at Thycotic Software Ltd, focusing on ASP.NET web development for password security. In 2010, they became the Director of Information Technology at Edge-Sweets Co., responsible for network administration and programming their CAD/CAM software. Most recently, since 2018, they have served as the Director of Data Science & Analytics at Datadyne Marketing, where they develop machine learning algorithms and provides actionable insights for clients using Azure Machine Learning and the ML.NET framework.
