John Toomey

John joined Edge in 2016 to help the team put in place the operational and financial protocols required to scale the business. John works closely with Ian at TPP to scale mid-market growing companies. Prior to 2015 John has worked with mostly technology companies ranging from major corporations to startups.

John’s previous credits include, CEO of Visible Inventory, where he raised the required capital, repositioned the product family, and lead the sale of the company to its largest customer. As COO/CFO and one of three founding shareholders of White Mountain DSP John helped bring the company from a technology startup to a mature company. Under his leadership the company build out an ISO 9000 manufacturing facility and expanded the European Representative Network resulting in double digit sales growth from that market. He was instrumental in the sale of the company to Analog Devices, Inc. Prior to that he was President of Ascom/Warren Power Systems repositioning the company and successfully selling the business to a US buyer. Prior to this John held positions of CFO/Controller of publicly traded Baird Corporation, Corporate Finance Manager of GCA Corporation a $350 million manufacturer of semiconductor capital equipment and Manager of Financial Planning of Centronics Data Computer Corporation. John holds a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
