Dick Theunissen

Mr. Theunissen has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, data centers and hosting & cloud services. Prior to EdgeConneX, Dick served as Chief Marketing Officer EMEA of Equinix where he was responsible for the regional Go-To-Market strategy and execution, product portfolio and communications. He was also instrumental in the acquisition of Ancotel in Frankfurt and set-up of Equinix UEA in Dubai.

Previously, Dick served as Chief Marketing Officer at Interxion driving double digit revenue growth with a segmental market approach, creating value for specific customer verticals such as Finance & Media. Prior to joining Interxion, he was CEO of Amen International, a leading European hosting company and before that he held the position of Vice President at VIA NET.WORKS, where he managed the European SME and hosting business. Dick has also held senior management positions at KPN and KPNQwest.
