Dries van Vuuren

Dries van Vuuren has extensive experience in tax management and structuring. Dries currently serves as the Senior Director of Tax & Structuring at EdgeConneX, where they are responsible for global structuring, tax reporting, financial modeling, M&A support, and contracting. Before joining EdgeConneX, Dries held positions such as Tax Director at EdgeConneX, Senior Tax Manager at EdgeConneX, and Tax & Transfer Pricing Manager at Core Laboratories. Dries also worked at EY as an International Tax Manager, Senior Tax Consultant, and Manager at the Netherlands Tax Desk in New York. Dries started their career as a Legal Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and gained experience at Syncount Belastingadviseurs and Grant Thornton Netherlands. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Lecturer of Tax Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

From 2016 to 2018, Dries attended the International Tax Center Leiden. During this period, they pursued an Executive LLM in International & EU Tax Law.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, Dries studied at Nyenrode Business University. Dries focused on Tax Law/Taxation as their field of study.

In 2012 and 2013, Dries was enrolled at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Fiscal Economics.

Dries's Bachelor's degree was earned at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2007 to 2011. Their major field of study was Fiscal Economics.

Lastly, Dries completed their high school education at the Gymnasium, Minkema College, from 2001 to 2007.
