Sam Lee

Sam Lee has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they are the Managing Director of Market and Commercial Development at EdgeConneX. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director of Data Centres at Lendlease from 2020 to 2021. From 2017 to 2020, Sam held the position of Managing Director at Global Switch. Before that, they worked at Digital Realty as the Director of Asset Management from 2013 to 2017, where they were responsible for managing the portfolio of datacenters in Singapore. Sam also has experience in entrepreneurship, as they founded and served as the Executive Director of BAE Investments Pte Ltd from 2007 to 2014. In addition, Sam worked at CBRE as the Google APAC Transaction Management Lead from 2012 to 2013. Sam also worked at Microsoft, holding positions such as Asia Pacific Portfolio Manager from 2006 to 2010 and Asia Pacific Regional Manager for Facilities Management & Travel from 2004 to 2007. Earlier in their career, Sam held positions at The Capital Group as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, Jones Lang LaSalle as a Senior Manager, and CIGNA Healthcare as an Area Network Coordinator.

Sam Lee obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1997. In 2010, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
