Fantix King 王川

Fantix King 王川 has a diverse range of work experience in the software development industry. Fantix is currently working as a Senior Software Developer at EdgeDB since January 2021. Prior to this, they were a Technical Consultant at DecentFoX Studio since May 2014. From January 2019 to January 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Architect at the Center for Translational Data Science.

Fantix also has experience as a Founder at 北京科技有限公司 from April 2015 to August 2017, where they developed a mobile app called Udinn 优定, focusing on creating a car-based offline social platform.

Fantix co-founded FlowForge Games in January 2013 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they led the development of the online real-time PvP mobile game "Arcane Academy: Duels" and wrote most of the code from scratch.

Prior to that, Fantix worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Happylatte from September 2011 to December 2012. Fantix joined Happylatte to save the existing Python game server from collapsing under heavy load caused by the successful game "High Noon". Fantix continued to maintain and improve the server, implementing new concepts and designs to support cloud computing for the game "High Noon 2".

Fantix started their career as a junior software engineer at Exoweb in August 2007 and gradually progressed to become a Senior Software Engineer. Fantix worked on various projects related to a large gambling website, including web frontend, finance system, bookie logic, third-party integration, transaction system, and production maintenance. Fantix also participated in the interview process for their team.

Before their professional career, Fantix had an internship as a Software Engineering Intern at Qingdao Rongke from October 2006 to August 2007.

Fantix King 王川 attended Qingdao University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
