Alessandro Scarsini

With over 25 years of FX expertise, Alessandro (Alex) Scarsini is the co-founder and president of Edgewater Markets LLC., industry leader in Electronic Foreign Exchange liquidity and distribution to global institutional clients.

Prior to co-founding Edgewater Markets, Mr. Scarsini was head of hedge fund sales desk across FX products at Deutsche Bank in New York. He has a stellar global track record which includes senior FX management positions at Merrill Lynch, ABN AMRO, and Barclays where he managed FX trading desks, institutional sales, and prime brokerage businesses.

Mr. Scarsini earned his B.S. in Business Administration, Finance from Babson College, and earned his Baccalauréat from the Lycée Français de New York. He is fluent in Italian, French and Spanish.
