M. Tekiela Gallagher Ed

Tekiela Gallagher, M. Ed, currently serves as a Special Education Teacher at Edgewood ISD since August 2018, where responsibilities include developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with district curriculum requirements. Prior experiences include roles as an Instructional Technology Teacher and Elementary School Library Media Specialist, as well as a Customer Service Representative at Aetna from December 2016 to August 2018. Tekiela's career also encompasses a position as Superintendent and Airman Dorm Leader from July 2014 to August 2016 and a role as Fitness Assessment Cell Manager in the United States Air Force from February 2012 to November 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley obtained in 2021, a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from American Military University earned in 2016, and an Associate's degree in Restaurant, Hotel, & Fitness Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
