Megan Tapia is an experienced culinary arts teacher currently employed at Edgewood ISD, where courses taught include Culinary and Advanced Culinary Arts at Memorial High School since September 2021. Prior to this role, Megan served in various positions, including Senior Customer Service Associate and Customer Service Assistant at Blue Apron, and Assistant Manager at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, where responsibilities included organizing events and managing communication between customers and kitchen staff. Additional experience includes managing tours for bands as a Tour Manager for Julian Acosta, as well as public relations work for Capitol City Records. Early career roles included substitute teaching and positions at Texas State University, where responsibilities ranged from library assistance to event production. Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Family and Consumer Sciences at Texas Tech University.
