Demitri Plessas, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data science and management. Demitri has worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Edifecs, where they served as the AI/ML architect and led the construction of the company's machine learning platform. Demitri also developed unique capabilities in Precision Payment Risk Adjustment and Provider Efficiency Scores for a key value-based care platform. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Science Manager at iHerb, LLC, where they determined the Machine Learning and AI strategy for the company and managed a team of scientists and engineers.

Demitri Plessas, Ph.D. earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematical Sciences from Montana Technological University in 2006. Demitri then went on to complete their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Mathematics at the University of Montana from 2006 to 2008. Demitri further pursued their education at the University of Montana, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Demitri has also obtained several certifications, including the "Machine Learning by Stanford University" course on Coursera in 2016, and various data science certifications from Udemy in 2017.
