Engineering & AVID Teacher at Edina Public Schools

Christina Beddies is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as an Engineering and AVID Teacher at Edina Public Schools since August 2020, Christina previously worked as a Reading Teacher at Inver Grove Heights Schools, where research and implementation of data-supported reading intervention programs were key responsibilities. Christina's extensive experience also includes a tenure at Columbus Municipal School District from 2008 to 2017, where roles encompassed English Teacher, Department Chair, and various committee memberships focusing on core instruction and professional development. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a Youth Services Counselor with the Mississippi Department of Human Services and a Student Intern at Windhoek High School / Catholic AIDS Action. Christina holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-St. Paul and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Catherine University.
