Jonny Pearson

Jonny Pearson currently serves as the Chair of Scottish Student Sport since August 2023 and has held various leadership roles at Edinburgh College, including Vice Principal and Assistant Principal, since March 2013. Prior to this, Jonny was the Head of Health, Well-being and Social Sciences at the same institution. Jonny's career in education includes experience as the Head of Sport and Science at Stevenson College Edinburgh from August 2006 to March 2013 and as the Head of Sport and Fitness at Cardonald College Glasgow from February 2001 to August 2006. Jonny holds a PGCE in Physical Education from St Lukes College and a BA Hons in Human Movement Studies and Sports Studies from Carnegie College of Physical Education.
