Jeffrey Walker

Jeffrey Walker is an experienced educator and writer with a career spanning over two decades in the fields of theatre and education. Currently serving as a teacher at Thomas A. Edison High School since August 2017, Jeffrey teaches multiple levels of theatre arts and is also a contributing writer for DC Theatre Scene since 2012, where feature stories and theatre reviews are produced. Previously, Jeffrey contributed to Broadway World.Com in the DC Region from 2012 to 2018 and worked as the Division Fine Arts Coordinator at Culpeper County Public Schools from 2002 to 2017, facilitating communication and professional development in fine and performing arts. Earlier roles included editor/manager at The Vinton Messenger and marketing and public relations at Center in the Square. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Roanoke College and has completed graduate courses in Education and Secondary Education at George Mason University and Shenandoah University.
