Hien Hoang

Hien Hoang is a highly experienced scientist specializing in cellular analytical development. Currently serving as Senior Scientist I at Editas Medicine since April 2021, Hien has held multiple roles within the same organization, focusing on analytical development in GLP and cGMP environments in accordance with ICH guidelines. Previous positions include Principal Research Associate at LifeMine Therapeutics, where assay design and optimization for compound efficacy and toxicity testing were key responsibilities. Hien's background encompasses significant roles in developing in vitro assays at Goldfinch Bio for kidney disease treatment, as well as research on cellular metabolism and mitochondrial effects at Mitobridge, Inc. Early research experiences include work in assay execution at Genzyme, Oligopaint synthesis at Harvard Medical School, and investigations during a PhD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Hien's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Genetics from Rutgers University.
