Mahyar Sameti

Mahyar Sameti, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Quality Control Analyst at Editas Medicine since December 2021, overseeing the sampling and storage of QC samples and performing various testing procedures. Previously, Mahyar held the position of Research Assistant at Florida Institute of Technology from September 2016 to September 2021, conducting research on cell interactions with their microenvironment in Dr. Bashur's lab, and also worked as a Teaching Assistant for a biomedical systems course. Prior to this, Mahyar was the National Sales Manager at Parsian Giti Iranian from September 2014 to August 2016, focusing on sales for MediCore and MediHealth products. Mahyar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, as well as a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Biomedical/Material Engineering, respectively, from Islamic Azad University.
