Joe Canas

Joe Canas is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Software Engineering at EditCo since March 2024, Joe previously held several senior positions, including Sr. Director and Director of Commercial Software at Synthego Corporation from February 2019 to March 2024. Earlier career highlights include consulting as a Software Engineer and Content Strategist, serving as Director and Senior Software Engineer at E*TRADE, and holding significant positions at OptionsHouse, OptionMonster, and Genentech, where expertise in technology management and software development was demonstrated. Joe holds a B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.
