Traci Bednard

Traci Bednard is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in communications and leadership. Currently serving as CEO of Explore Edmonton Corporation since November 2021, Traci previously held various senior positions at Edmonton International Airport from June 1997, including Vice President of Digital and Corporate Communications and Vice President of Air Service and Cargo Market Development. Notably, Traci implemented a comprehensive digital transformation strategy and played a pivotal role in attracting international passenger routes and cargo services. With additional directorships at the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, Covenant Health Foundation, and Edmonton Global, Traci demonstrates a strong commitment to tourism and economic development. Traci's educational background includes a Senior Executive Program from Harvard Business School and a degree in Public Relations from MacEwan University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from the University of Alberta.
