Bill Scott enters his eighth season with the Oilers, serving as Director of Salary Cap Management and Assistant to the President of Hockey Operations for the previous four season. Scott was also the club's Assistant General Manager for two seasons after getting promoted to the Oilers in April 2014.
The native of Unionville, Ont., served as General Manager of the Oilers American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Oklahoma City Barons from 2010-2014. He played a key role in the Barons reaching the Calder Cup Playoffs in all four of his seasons as GM.
