Sara Chin

Sara Chin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and business development. Currently a Fellow at the Edmund Hillary Fellowship and Chief Operating Officer at Sonnar Interactive Ltd., Sara creates and implements operational strategies while engaging directly with customers to identify business needs. Prior roles include Fundraising Business Development Manager and Trusts and Foundations Manager at Blind Low Vision NZ, where Sara focused on high-value fundraising and building donor relationships. Sara has also worked as a Senior Community Grants Advisor at Auckland Council and Operations Manager at Shakti Community Council, honing skills in grant-making, service development, and stakeholder engagement. Sara holds a BA/LLB from The University of Auckland, specializing in Laws and Political Studies with honours.
